Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated professional to be a part of the engineering team who deals with the next generation cloud supply chain management platform. In this role, you will be involved in integration processes from both sides – customers and carriers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with a focus on shipping and logistics. You will play a key role in the customer on-boarding process and, from other side, manage continuous improvement activities with carriers integrations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage integrations for global and country specific accounts
- Work closely with the business implementation teams to implement integration project successfully
- Design, implement, test and deploy the integration solutions
- Develop workflows and system configurations based on functional/business specifications
- Setup, monitor and troubleshoot technical communication and connectivity with carriers and customers
- Re-use existing solution templates and define re-usable template solutions for new customer implementations
- Define interface specifications with customer IT counterparts
- Write technical specifications for mapping and integration improvement
- Setup, test and migrate configurations between system instances (e.g. development, test, production)
- Keep up to date integration documentation (both internal and external)
Skills and Experience
- Solution design and system architecture knowledge
- Experience in EDI B2B Integrations: EDIFACT, XML, JSON, X12, CSV will be a plus.
- Experience with documentation version controlling (Wiki, Confluence, Jira or equivalent)
- Formal education in IT and/or Logistics and/or natural sciences
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Excellent analytical mind and problem solver
- Persistent and curious personality
- Knowledge of Transport Management Systems advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), other languages advantageous
- Structured and organized way of working with a clear focus on objectives
English fluency is mandatory as it is the communication language across all departments.
